On Sunday, 04 January 2026, a protest rally was organized by the Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council Paris, France at Historic Republic Square in Paris, France against the persecution of minority Hindus in Bangladesh. Bureau of Human Rights and Justice (BHRJ) participated in this protest.

 

Thousands of immigrant Bangladeshi Hindus participated in this protest. They demanded exemplary punishment for those who brutally murdered Dipu Chandra Das on false charges of blasphemy. The speakers also mentioned the recent murders of Khokon Das and Amrito Mandal. The protest rally demanded the unconditional release of Chinmoy Krishnadas Prabhu. The speakers mentioned that a deep conspiracy to make Bangladesh Hindu-free is being implemented. The speakers mentioned that after the fall of the Hasina government, at least 169 Hindu teachers from various schools, colleges and universities have been forced to resign or dismissed from their jobs. At least 187 Hindus have been killed in the last one year. 221 Hindu women have been raped. Thousands of Hindu homes and businesses have been attacked, vandalized, and arsoned. Attacks on Hindus on charges of blasphemy, occupation of Hindu monasteries and temples have become a daily occurrence in Bangladesh.

The protest demanded proper justice for persecuted Hindus and an end to all forms of atrocities against the Hindu minority in Bangladesh.
