The arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson for the Bangladesh Sammilitan Sanatani Jagaran Jote, has sparked widespread protests and concerns both locally and internationally.
Joining the chorus of protest, Nepal’s well-known activist Nisha—popularly known as ‘Agnikanya’—has strongly voiced her outrage and concern over the situation.
In a video message shared on social media, Nisha condemned the treatment of Chinmoy Brahmachari and called for his immediate release. She emphasized that targeting religious leaders or hurting the sentiments of faith groups goes against the principles of a fair and inclusive society.
Nisha also highlighted that the safety and rights of minority communities should be treated as a matter of international concern. Her passionate protest from Nepal has quickly gained traction online, drawing widespread attention and engagement across social media platforms.
